It Has Really Deep And Strong Bass - Wireless Voip Headset Review

By Jordan Ramirez

I am so glad I spent the money for these headphones. I have been researching various models and brands and I decided to go with these due to the reviews here on Amazon. In a word, the Sennheiser RS 180 remote headphones are just about perfect. I did not give them 5 stars across the board, because I feel that they are about 2 tenths away from that.

When, in time, the batteries are exhausted, I can simply purchase replacements at the grocery store and change them out in less than a minute. I was SO PLEASED with the RS 180, that I purchased a second pair to carry with me to field locations. This was entirely the fault of the Sony. Having said that, the sheer ability of this set to reproduce sound simply overcame the shortcomings. I have used these headphones about 6 times for usually about 2 hours each time (normally playing Xbox 360). As I write this, I am using them to listen to music streamed off my PC sent through my PS3. The headphones presented a very wide soundstage with ample presence but not too much "air". As I stated above these are very warm sounding headphones. The sound is great, as is the range. First pair received was DOA. If I did this, I could not hear the TV. The Sennheiser RD180 has solved all our problems.

I purchased these wireless headphones for quiet listening late at night so I would not disturb other people. I have used the wired Sennheiser HD 414 headphones for the last 20+ years and have had zero problems with them. Ah, I get it, customer meaning I have to customize the product. I bought these for work (at home.) I wanted something wireless, of decent quality with good range.

After it dried in about an hour, it left those buttons with a raised "bump" that my fingers can easily find. The on/off/standby button is between the volume buttons, so it is now easy to find with my fingers also. The headphones are light & I hardly noticed that they were, in fact, on my head. I like that the charging station gives them a "home" to go to. The headphones when used, seem to often (can happen many times a day) disrupt the wireless internet connection, and possibly the mouse and the keyboard, but I'm not sure about those. I'll try more settings soon.

They're also fairly easy to open (the fit of the plastic container containing the actual headphones and base was a bit snug, so there was a bit of tugging there). Setting the headphones up is very easy.
