Nine unique classes, all with varying abilities skills, health and skins. From its large community, like with CSS game servers, Team Fortress 2 has a huge array of custom maps and mods. As popular as ever, Team Fortress 2 game servers have been around now for 2 years.
All Team Fortress 2 servers are split into 9 different classes, which have 3 sub classes for support, defence and offence. Though you don't have to play these exact roles, they are set to give the best balance.
Without an effective defence, you will lose on Team Fortress 2 servers. Having a good back line is needed to stop the scout from sneaking through your defence.
You have to be skilled at this class to know to play it without a proper gun or using the bottle to melee. The Demoman can take out enemies using a variety of clever tricks using the games physics engine. A weapon that can take out small health pools such as the scout, medic and spy is the grenade launcher- normally with just two hits! The grenade launcher is also great for taking sentry guns that are around tight corners with relative ease. Another good tactic is using sticky grenades near tight corridors or intelligence or control points. Simply lay a few sticky grenades and watch the kills roll in. If you like your bangs and can't aim then this is the class for you!
Next up is the Heavy. This chap really has some meat behind his punch. He is also the heaviest and slowest of all the classes but makes up for that in the fact he has the most health and the biggest gun. He can take down most things in a matter of seconds. The only thing he struggles is if he meets his opposite number from the other team. With his large range, he can take on lots of enemies at the same time. On the flip side, his mini gun does take a while to kick in. Once he hits you, don't expect to move in a hurry! Heavies work best with someone else covering their back while they fire. If you have a point to prove on game servers, choose this guy!
The engineer only normally attacks in retaliation. He should choose to deploy and maintain helpful buildings to gain his team an advantage. They are best known for their sentry guns which are automated turrets which can be upgraded by whacking them with the wrench. To do this, the engineer has to collect metal from round the map. Dispensers placed round the map are also used to re-supply players. Teleports are an excellent way of moving players from one part of the map to another. A good place is a quiet spot near the enemy base. Unfortunately they aren't so hard when it comes to one on one. However they can be effective at medium range with their turrets and tend to sit in cover. If you like turrets and building, the engineer is for you.
